It is every person's desire to compete and succeed in life no matter what challenges them along the way. Unfortunately, there are very few athletic opportunities for individuals in wheelchairs, especially for quadriplegics who have a higher level of physical dysfunction. The Portland Pounders provide the only opportunity for quadriplegics in the area to compete in a team sport. Without the support of individuals and community, the members of the Portland Pounders Wheelchair Rugby Team would not be able to continue to meet the goals they have set for themselves.

What can you do? Please consider making a small donation to the team. All donations go to team expenses such as equipment purchases, uniforms, transportation, accommodations and other costs involved in hosting and attending tournaments.
